Most feel it is not necessary (which is technically true) and I guess the number of people who are using it and also own a Spacemouse are a small minority.įor me it seems like it would be a benefit as I have the hardware and it just seems crazy not to be able to use it, especially when you have been just using it in another programme, my left hand just thinks it can use it. I have asked on the forum and it seems like there is not huge demand for the support. I will contact the technical support team as you suggest.Īs for the issue with Vcarve and all Vectric software including Aspire which is deos have 3d modelling capabilities and is quite expensive. Hoping someone has a workaround or something. I have been on the vectric forum and it looks like there is no official support though a few others have asked in the past. Its like its halfway there but not working. The software knows it is in vcarve 10 as it states so in the box on the 3DXware, I set it for pan and zoom only in the menu but no inputs register when using the spacemouse puck. So I went from fusion to vectric after using the spacemouse and tried to use it. I just want to use it for pan and zoom really, I know that vcarve is not a true 3D design software but I use Fusion for complex stuff and Vcarve for projects involving text and stuff. Secondly, I wonder if anyone has succesfully used their Spacemouse for any of the Vectric products (I have Vcarve desktop). Just want to know if this is standard or if its a faulty one really. I have never noticed this on a mouse before, my logitec is silent in comparison. It`s like the spindle it runs on is loose or something, just seems like too much play in it or something. It may seem like a minor issue but it is really annoying me. So if scrolling a few pages everytime you take pressure off it clicks. It is not loud when actually scrolling but makes a noise whenever you go to put your finger on it or take your finger off it. I have a question about the cadmouse, it works very well and I am getting used to the shape (before I was using a much smaller logitech). It is fantastic, the spacemouse is brilliant for fusion 360 which is my reason for purchasing it. I have just bought the spacemouse wireless kit.
